Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
(I swear) by the snorting chargers (of the warriors), whose hoofs strike against the rocks 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
