The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

When earth is shaken with a mighty shaking 1 when the earth shakes off her burdens, 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 For your Lord will have commanded it. 5 On that Day people will come forward in separate groups to be shown their deeds: 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And whosoever hath worked ill of an atom's weight shall behold it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
