And those who fly for Allah's sake after they are oppressed, We will most certainly give them a good abode in the world, and the reward of the hereafter is certainly much greater, did they but know; 41 (They are) those who persevere in patience, and put their trust on their Lord. 42 We never sent but men before you to whom We revealed, ask the people of the Remembrance, if you do not know. 43 [We sent them] with clear proofs and written ordinances. And We revealed to you the message that you may make clear to the people what was sent down to them and that they might give thought. 44 Do they then who plan evil (deeds) feel secure (of this) that Allah will not cause the earth to swallow them or that punishment may not overtake them from whence they do not perceive? 45 Or that He may not call them to account in the midst of their goings to and fro, without a chance of their frustrating Him?- 46 or take them to task through slow decay? And yet, behold, your Sustainer is most compassionate, a dispenser of grace! 47 Do they not look at Allah's creation, (even) among (inanimate) things,- How their (very) shadows turn round, from the right and the left, prostrating themselves to Allah, and that in the humblest manner? 48 Whatever is in the heavens and the earth, the cattle and the angels prostrate themselves before God without pride. 49 they fear their Sustainer high above them, and do whatever they are bidden to do. ۩ 50
