The folk of Lot denied the messengers (of Allah), 160 Behold, their brother Lut said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 161 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 162 so fear God and obey me. 163 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds; 164 Why do you go for males unlike all other creatures 165 keeping yourselves aloof from all the [lawful] spouses whom your Sustainer has created for you? Nay, but you are people who transgress all bounds of what is right!" 166 They said, "If you do not desist, Lot, you will surely be banished." 167 He said: 'Truly, I am a detester of what you do' 168 “My Lord, rescue me and my family from their deeds.” 169 So We saved him and his family, all, 170 Except one old woman, who stayed behind. 171 But the rest We destroyed utterly. 172 and We rained on them a rain; and evil is the rain of them that are warned. 173 Surely, in that there is a sign. Yet most of them do not believe. 174 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might Most Merciful. 175
