The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ God's help will certainly support (the believers), so pagans do not (seek) to hasten it. God is too Glorious and Exalted to be considered equal to idols. 1 He sends down this spirit (of prophecy) by His command through His angels on any of His servants whom He wills, (directing them): "Warn people that there is no deity but Me; so hold Me alone in fear." 2 He hath created the heavens and the earth with truth. High be He Exalted above all that they associate (with Him). 3 He created man out of a mere drop of fluid, and lo! he turned into an open wrangler. 4 And the cattle! He hath created them. For you in them there is warmth and other profits and of them ye eat. 5 How beautiful you find them when you bring them home and when you drive them out to graze. 6 And they carry your loads to [many] a place which [otherwise] you would be unable to reach without great hardship to yourselves. Verily, your Sustainer is most compassionate, a dispenser of grace! 7 And (He has created) horses, mules, and donkeys, for you to ride and use for show; and He has created (other) things of which ye have no knowledge. 8 And [because He is your Creator,] it rests with God alone to show you the right path: yet there is [many a one] who swerves from it. However, had He so willed, He would have guided you all aright. 9
