Do you not see that We have sent the devils upon the disbelievers, inciting them to [evil] with [constant] incitement? 83 Therefore, do not hasten (in seeking a scourge against them). We are counting their days. 84 The Day will surely come when We shall gather the God-fearing like [honoured] guests before the Compassionate God 85 and drive the evildoers into Gehenna herding, 86 who have no power of intercession, except those who have taken a covenant with the Merciful. 87 And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son." 88 Indeed, [by this assertion] you have brought forth something monstrous, 89 At it the skies are ready to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin, 90 For they have attributed a son to Ar-Rahman, 91 When it is not meet for (the Majesty of) the Beneficent that He should choose a son. 92 Not one of all [the beings] that are in the heavens or on earth appears before the Most Gracious other than as a servant: 93 He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting. 94 And each of them is to come to Him on the Day of Judgment alone. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 So We have made this (the Quran) easy in your own tongue (O Muhammad SAW), only that you may give glad tidings to the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - See V. 2:2), and warn with it the Ludda (most quarrelsome) people. 97 How many generations have We laid low before them. Do you see any sign of them, or hear the least whisper of them? 98
