And those who disbelieve say: "When we have become dust, we and our fathers, shall we really be brought forth (again)? 67 “Indeed this promise was given to us, and before us to our forefathers – this is nothing but stories of former people.” 68 Say: Travel in the earth, then see how was the end of the guilty. 69 Do not grieve over them, nor feel distressed at their schemes. 70 And they say, "When is [the fulfillment of] this promise, if you should be truthful?" 71 Say: Maybe there may have drawn near to you somewhat of that which you seek to hasten on. 72 Truly, your Lord is bountiful to mankind, but most of them are not grateful. 73 And verily thy Lord knoweth all that their hearts do hide. As well as all that they reveal. 74 And naught there is hidden in the heaven or the earth but it is in a Manifest Book. 75 This Quran explains to the children of Israel much of what they differ over, 76 certainly it is guidance and a blessing for the believers. 77 Surely your Lord in His wisdom will decide between them. He is all-mighty and all-knowing. 78 Hence, place thy trust in God [alone] - for, behold, that in which thou believest is truth self-evident. 79 Surely you cannot make the dead hear you, nor can you make the deaf hear your call if they turn back in flight, 80 Nor can you lead the blind out of their error, you can only make to hear those who believe in Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and who have submitted (themselves to Allah in Islam as Muslims). 81 ۞ And when the word shall come to be fulfilled concerning them, We shall bring forth a beast of the earth speaking unto them, that the people have not of Our signs been convinced. 82
