And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
