And He it is Who made for you the ears and the eyes and the hearts; little is it that you give thanks. 78 And it is He Who has spread you in the earth, and towards Him you are to be raised. 79 And it is He Who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 But nay, they speak as the people of olden times did speak: 81 They said: "When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we be resurrected indeed? 82 We were promised such things and so were our forefathers before us. All these are no more than tales of the past." 83 Say: "Whose is the earth and whosoever is therein? If you know!" 84 They will say: Unto Allah. Say: Will ye not then remember? 85 Say: 'Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Great Throne' 86 They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: Will ye not then keep duty (unto Him)? 87 Say, "In whose hand is the realm of all things - and He protects while none can protect against Him - if you should know?" 88 They will surely say: "(The dominion over all things) belongs to Allah." Say: "Whence are you then deluded?" 89 Rather, We have brought them the truth, and indeed they are liars. 90 Never did God take unto Himself any offspring, nor has there ever been any deity side by side with Him: [for, had there been any,] lo! each deity would surely have stood apart [from the others] in whatever it had created, and they would surely have [tried to] overcome one another! Limitless in His glory is God, [far] above anything that men may devise by way of definition, 91 who has knowledge of the Unseen and the Visible; high exalted be He, above that they associate! 92
