In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Ya Sin. 1 By the Wise Qur'an, 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 On a path that is straight, -- 4 (and this Qur'an) is a revelation from the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate 5 In order that thou mayest admonish a people, whose fathers had received no admonition, and who therefore remain heedless (of the Signs of Allah). 6 Already hath the judgment, (for their infidelity) proved true of most of them, for they believe not. 7 We have indeed put shackles around their necks reaching up to the chins, so they remain facing upwards. 8 And We have set a bar before them and a bar behind them, and (thus) have covered them so that they see not. 9 And it is alike to them whether you warn them or warn them not: they do not believe. 10 You can warn only him who follows the Admonition and fears the Merciful Lord without seeing Him. Give such a one good tidings of forgiveness and a generous reward. 11 Verily, We shall indeed bring the dead back to life; and We shall record whatever [deeds] they have sent ahead, and the traces [of good and evil] which they have left behind: for of all things do We take account in a record clear. 12
