3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
Noah had called upon Us (earlier). See, how excellent We were in answering him! 75 And We saved him and his family from the great affliction. 76 And We made his offspring the survivors. 77 We perpetuated his praise in later generations. 78 Peace be upon Noah among all the peoples! 79 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 80 Verily, he [Nuh (Noah)] was one of Our believing slaves. 81 Then We drowned the disbelievers. 82 ۞ And most surely Ibrahim followed his way. 83 when he turned to his Sustainer with a heart free of evil, 84 When he said to his father (paternal uncle) and his people, “What do you worship?” 85 "Is it a falsehood- gods other than Allah- that ye desire? 86 What is then your idea about the Lord of the worlds? 87 And he glanced a glance at the stars 88 And he said: verily I am about to be sick. 89 All the people turned away from him 90 Then he turned to their aliha (gods) and said: "Will you not eat (of the offering before you)? 91 What is the matter with you, why do you not speak?” 92 Then he attacked them, striking with his right hand. 93 Then the people came toward him, hastening. 94 He said: Worship ye that which ye yourselves do carve 95 when it is Allah who created you and all that you do' 96 They said, 'Build him a building, and cast him into the furnace!' 97 They desired to outwit him; so We made them the lower ones. 98 And [Abraham] said: "Verily, I shall [leave this land and] go wherever my Sustainer will guide me!" 99 My Lord! Bestow on me a son who will be of the righteous. 100 So We gave him the good news of a boy ready to suffer and forbear. 101 When he was old enough to go about with him, he said: "O my son, I dreamt that I was sacrificing you. Consider, what you think?" He replied: "Father, do as you are commanded. If God pleases you will find me firm." 102 And when they had both submitted, and his son had laid down prostrate upon his forehead, 103 And We called out to him saying: O Ibrahim! 104 thou hast already fulfilled [the purpose of] that dream-vision!" Thus, verily, do We reward the doers of good: 105 that surely was a manifest trial, 106 And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice (i.e. a ram); 107 and perpetuated his praise in later generations. 108 "Peace be upon Abraham!" 109 That is how We reward those who do good. 110 For he was one of our believing Servants. 111 Then We gave him the good tidings of Isaac, a Prophet, one of the righteous. 112 We had blessed him and Isaac. Some of their offspring were righteous and others were openly unjust to themselves. 113

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
