The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
