O Prophet, enjoin your wives and your daughters and the believing women, to draw a part of their outer coverings around them. It is likelier that they will be recognised and not molested. Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful. 59 ۞ Truly, if the Hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease, and those who stir up sedition in the City, desist not, We shall certainly stir thee up against them: Then will they not be able to stay in it as thy neighbours for any length of time: 60 Accursed, they would be seized wherever found, and slain mercilessly. 61 This was the tradition of God with those who lived before. There will never be any change in the tradition of God. 62 The people will question thee concerning the Hour. Say: 'The knowledge of it is only with God; what shall make thee know? Haply the Hour is nigh.' 63 God has cursed the unbelievers, and prepared for them a Blaze, 64 They will live in it for ever, and will find no saviour or helper. 65 The day their faces would be turned on the fire (as on a spit), they will say: "Alas! If only we had obeyed God, and obeyed the Prophet." 66 They shall say, 'Our Lord, we obeyed our chiefs and great ones, and they led us astray from the way. 67 “Our Lord! Give them double the punishment of the fire and send upon them a mighty curse!” 68
