Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ I swear by the Day of Resurrection; 1 And I swear by the self-reproaching person (a believer). 2 Does man think that We cannot assemble his bones? 3 Yea! We are able to make complete his very fingertips 4 Nay! (Man denies Resurrection and Reckoning. So) he desires to continue committing sins. 5 'When will the Day of Resurrection be' he asks, 6 but when the sight is dazed 7 and the moon is eclipsed, 8 and the sun and the moon are brought together, 9 Man will say on that Day, "Where is the [place of] escape?" 10 By no means! there shall be no place of refuge! 11 Upon that day the recourse shall be to thy Lord. 12 Man will be apprised, on that Day, of what he has done and what he has left undone: 13 nay, man shall be a clear proof against himself, 14 Although he may put forth his pleas. 15 Do not move your tongue with it (the Revelation) to hasten it. 16 Surely on Us (devolves) the collecting of it and the reciting of it. 17 And when We have recited it to you [O Muhammad SAW through Jibrael (Gabriel)], then follow you its (the Quran's) recital. 18 and then, behold, it will be for Us to make its meaning clear. 19 No indeed; but you love the hasty world, 20 And leave the Hereafter. 21 How many faces will be refulgent on that Day, 22 Looking toward their Lord. 23 And how many faces on that Day will be woe-begone 24 Knowing that they will be subjected to a torment that breaks the backs. 25 Yes indeed, when the soul will reach up to the throat. 26 And it is cried. who can charm? 27 (the angels of mercy or the angels of wrath,)" then, he will realize that it is time to leave this world. 28 and is enwrapped in the pangs of death 29 To your Lord on that day shall be the driving. 30
