And call to mind what time Allah will say: O 'Isa, son of Maryam! was it thou who said to the people: take me and my mother as two gods beside Allah! 'Isa will say: hallowed be Thou! It was not for me to say that to which I had no right; had I said it, Thou would have surely known it; Thou knowest that which is in my mind and I know not that which is in Thy mind. Verily Thou! Thou art the Great Knower of the things hidden. 116 I did not say to them aught save what Thou didst enjoin me with: That serve Allah, my Lord and your Lord, and I was a witness of them so long as I was among them, but when Thou didst cause me to die, Thou wert the watcher over them, and Thou art witness of all things. 117 and if You punish them, they are surely Your servants; and if You forgive them, You are surely the Mighty and Wise." 118 Allah saith: This is a day in which their truthfulness profiteth the truthful, for theirs are Gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein they are secure for ever, Allah taking pleasure in them and they in Him. That is the great triumph. 119 To Allah belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth and what is in them. He has power over all things. 120
