Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Ya-Sin. 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom (i.e. full of laws, evidences, and proofs), 2 you are indeed one of the messengers 3 upon the straight path. 4 This is a revelation sent down from the Majestic and All-merciful 5 That you may warn a people whose ancestors had never been warned, who are therefore heedless. 6 Undoubtedly, it (their disbelief) has proved true for most of them, so they will not believe. 7 We have bound their necks with fetters up to their chin, so that their heads are raised and cannot be lowered. 8 And We have put a barrier before them, and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up, so that they cannot see. 9 thus, it is all one to them whether thou warnest them or dost not warn them: they will not believe. 10 You only warn he who follows the Remembrance and fears the Merciful in the Unseen. Give to him glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 We shall surely raise the dead to life and We record what they did and the traces of their deeds that they have left behind. We have encompassed that in a Clear Book. 12
