And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
