Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Qaf. By the glorious Quran! 1 They are rather surprised that a warner from among themselves has come to them. So the unbelievers say: "This is astonishing: 2 What! when we are dead and have become dust? That is afar (from probable) return. 3 We know that which the earth taketh of them, and with Us is a recording Book. 4 In fact, they have rejected the truth that has come to them, thus, they live in confusion. 5 Have they not looked at the heaven above them - how We structured it and adorned it and [how] it has no rifts? 6 And the earth - We spread it out and cast therein firmly set mountains and made grow therein [something] of every beautiful kind, 7 This is a reminder and it sharpens the insight of every servant of God who turns to Him in repentance. 8 And We send down from the sky blessed water whereby We give growth unto gardens and the grain of crops, 9 and tall palm-trees with spathes compact, 10 As provision for the servants, and We have given life thereby to a dead land. Thus is the resurrection. 11 And before them the people of Nuh belied, and so did the dwellers of Rass and the Thamud. 12 And the tribe of A’ad, and Firaun, and the fellowmen of Lut. 13 The Companions of the Wood, and the People of Tubba'; each one (of them) rejected the messengers, and My warning was duly fulfilled (in them). 14 What, were We wearied by the first creation? No, indeed; yet they are in doubt about a new creation. 15
