The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the earth is shaken with its mighty shaking, 1 and it throws out its burden, 2 and man cries out, "What has happened to her?" 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 as thy Sustainer will have inspired her to do! 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 Whosoever has done even an atom's weight of good will behold it; 7 And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
