The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By those [angels] who range themselves in close ranks 1 by those who drive away the devil (to protect Our revelation), 2 And those who recite the message, 3 Verily, verily, your Allah is one!- 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth, and all that is between them, and Lord of every point of the sun's risings. (None has the right to be worshipped but Allah). 5 We have indeed adorned the lowest heaven with stars as ornaments. 6 a protection against every rebel satan; 7 they cannot overhear the Higher Assembly for they are pelted from every side, 8 and driven away to suffer the necessary torment. 9 Except one who sometimes steals a part, so a blazing flame goes after him. 10 Then ask them (i.e. these polytheists, O Muhammad SAW): "Are they stronger as creation, or those (others like the heavens and the earth and the mountains, etc.) whom We have created?" Verily, We created them of a sticky clay. 11 Truly dost thou marvel, while they ridicule, 12 When they are reminded, they do not pay heed, 13 And whenever they see a sign, they mock at it. 14 it and say, "It is only plain magic". 15 They say, "Shall we be brought to life again after we die and turn into dust and bones? 16 What, and our fathers, the ancients?' 17 Say, "Yes, and you will be [rendered] contemptible." 18 There will only be a single jerk, and they will gape, 19 and will say: "Oh, woe unto us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 'This is the Day of Decision, even that you cried lies to. 21
