We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
