The Pharaoh and his people had also received Our warning, 41 They, too, rejected all Our signs. So We seized them with the seizure of One Mighty, Omnipotent. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those, or have ye some immunity in the scriptures? 43 Or do they say, "We are an assembly supporting [each other]"? 44 The group will soon be routed, and will turn their backs to flee. 45 Aye! the Hour is their appointed term, and the Hour shall be far more grievous and far more bitter. 46 Verily the culprits shall be in great error and madness. 47 The Day they will be dragged in the Fire on their faces (it will be said to them): "Taste you the touch of Hell!" 48 Indeed, We have created all things according to a measure. 49 And Our command is only a fleeting one – like the batting of an eyelid. 50 And certainly We have already destroyed the likes of you, but is there anyone who will mind? 51 All their deeds are recorded in the Scrolls; 52 everything large or small, is duly inscribed. 53 Indeed, the cautious shall live amid gardens and a river, 54 where they will be honourably seated in the presence of a King, Mighty in Power. 55
