Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Perish the hands of AbiLahab, and perish he! 1 What will his wealth avail him, and all that he has gained? 2 Anon he shall roast into Fire having flame. 3 And so will his wife; carrying a bundle of firewood on her head. 4 Will have upon her neck a halter of palm-fibre. 5

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
