Call upon those whom you set up beside God! They possess not an atom's weight either in the heavens or on the earth, nor have they any share in either, nor has He any helpers among them. 22 Intercession will not avail with Him save for him to whom He gives leave; till, when terror is lifted from their hearts, they will say, "What said your Lord?' They will say, 'The truth; and He is the All-high; the All-great.' 23 ۞ Say, "Who provides you with sustenance from the heavens and the earth?" Say, "It is God. Only one group among us has the true guidance. The others must certainly be in plain error". 24 Say: You will not be questioned as to what we are guilty of, nor shall we be questioned as to what you do. 25 Say, "Our Lord will gather us all together and issue the true Judgment about our differences. He is the Best Judge and All-knowing." 26 Say to them, "Show me those whom you have joined with Him as partners. No indeed! For He alone is God, the Mighty One, the Wise One." 27 We have sent you only as a bearer of good tidings and admonisher for all mankind; yet most people do not understand. 28 They ask, "When will this promise be fulfilled, if you are truthful?" 29 Say: "The appointment to you is for a Day, which ye cannot put back for an hour nor put forward." 30
