Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Qaf. By the glorious Koran! 1 They are rather surprised that a warner from among themselves has come to them. So the unbelievers say: "This is astonishing: 2 “When we are dead and have turned to dust, will we be raised again? That return is impossible!” 3 We know what the earth diminishes of them; with Us is a book recording. 4 Aye! they belie the truth when it cometh unto them; wherefore they are in an affair confused. 5 What, have they not beheld heaven above them, how We have built it, and decked it out fair, and it has no cracks? 6 And the earth! We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and have produced therein every kind of lovely growth (plants). 7 as a lesson and a reminder to every penitent worshiper. 8 And We sent down the auspicious water from the sky, therefore producing gardens with it, and the grain that is harvested. 9 And tall (and stately) palm-trees, with shoots of fruit-stalks, piled one over another;- 10 as a provision for the worshipers; thereby We revived a land that was dead. Such shall be the emerging. 11 (Others) before them rejected (prophets): the people of Nuh and the dwellers of Ar-Rass and Samood, 12 And Ad and Firon and Lut's brethren, 13 the dwellers of the Thicket and the nation of Tubba', all belied their Messengers, therefore My threat was realized. 14 Were We then tired with the first creation? Nay, They are in confused doubt about a new creation (i.e. Resurrection)? 15
