Al-Najm 3 of 3
Have you seen him who turns his back, 33 And gave a little, then stopped (giving)? 34 Has he knowledge of the Unknown that he perceives everything? 35 Nay, is he not acquainted with what is in the Books of Moses- 36 And of Ibrahim, who was most obedient? 37 Namely, that no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another; 38 That man can have nothing but what he strives for; 39 And that his effort is going to be seen - 40 then, he shall be recompensed for it in full repayment 41 And that unto thy Lord is the goal. 42 And that it is He (Allah) Who makes (whom He wills) laugh, and makes (whom He wills) weep; 43 And that it is He (Allah) Who causes death and gives life; 44 And that He creates the two mates - the male and female - 45 from a discharged living germ 46 That He hath promised a Second Creation (Raising of the Dead); 47 And that He it is Who enricheth and contenteth; 48 And that He only is the Lord of the star Sirius? 49 And that He destroyed the first [people of] 'Aad 50 and Thamood, sparing no one, 51 as well as the people of Noah before them - [since,] verily, they all had been most willful in their evildoing and most overweening 52 And He brought perdition upon the subverted cities 53 And covered them by that which He covered. 54 Which of your Lord's benefits will you then dispute about? 55 This is a warning among the warnings of yore. 56 The threatened Hour is nigh. 57 apart from God none can disclose it. 58 Do you then find these tidings strange? 59 Will you laugh at it rather than weep? 60 Will you occupy yourselves simply in merriment? 61 Prostrate yourselves before God, and worship Him alone! ۩ 62

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
