Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And indeed, We have put the big stars in the heaven and We beautified it for the beholders. 16 And We have kept it guarded from every outcast devil. 17 Except him (devil) that gains hearing by stealing, he is pursued by a clear flaming fire. 18 And the earth! We have stretched it out and have cast thereon mountains firm, and We have caused to spring up thereon everything weighed. 19 And created livelihoods for you in it, and created those for whom you do not provide the sustenance. 20 For, no single thing exists that does not have its source with Us; and nought do We bestow from on high unless it be in accordance with a measure well-defined. 21 We let loose fertilizing winds, and bring water from the sky for you to drink; and you could not have stored it up for yourselves. 22 It is We who give life, and make to die, and it is We who are the inheritors. 23 We know those who lived before you and those who will come after you. 24 And indeed, your Lord will gather them; indeed, He is Wise and Knowing. 25
