The Mountain (Al-Toor)
49 verses, revealed in Mecca after Prostration (Al-Sajdah) before Kingship (Al-Mulk)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the Mount Sinai, 1 and a Book inscribed 2 In parchment spread open 3 And by oath of the Inhabited House. 4 and the roof uplifted 5 and by the swelling sea: 6 Lo! the doom of thy Lord will surely come to pass; 7 none can avert that. 8 Upon the day when heaven spins dizzily 9 The mountains move and fly away, 10 Woe on that Day to those who deny the truth, 11 and amuse themselves with vain argumentation. 12 on the Day when they shall be thrust into the fire with [an irresistible] thrust, [and will be told:] 13 “This is the fire, which you used to deny!” 14 Is this magic or do you not see? 15 Go now and burn in it. It is all the same whether you bear it patiently or do not bear it with patience. You are only being recompensed for your deeds.” 16 Lo! those who kept their duty dwell in gardens and delight, 17 Happy because of what their Lord hath given them, and (because) their Lord hath warded off from them the torment of hell-fire. 18 "Eat and drink with good cheer as a reward for your good deeds," 19 They will be reclining on thrones lined up, and We will marry them to fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes. 20 To those who have attained to faith We shall unite their offspring who have also followed them in faith, and We shall not let any of their good deeds go unrewarded; every human being is a pledge for whatever he has earned. 21 We shall give them fruits and meat as they desire. 22 while they pass therein a cup one to another wherein is no idle talk, no cause of sin, 23 ۞ And there go round, waiting on them menservants of their own, as they were hidden pearls. 24 And some of them shall advance towards others questioning each other. 25 They will say: "Aforetime, we were not without fear for the sake of our people. 26 but Allah has been gracious to us and has protected us from the punishment of the burning wind. 27 before this, we used to pray to Him. Surely, He is the Beneficent, the Merciful." 28

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
