Observedest thou him who turned away? 33 who gave a little, and then stopped? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the Unseen, and therefore he sees? 35 Or, has he not been told of that which is in the Scrolls of Moses 36 And Abraham who paid his debt: 37 That no burdened person (with sins) shall bear the burden (sins) of another. 38 And that man shall have nothing but what he strives for- 39 and that (the result of) his striving shall soon be seen, 40 and that he shall then be fully recompensed, 41 And that to your Lord is the finality 42 and that it is He alone who causes [you] to laugh and to weep; 43 and that He it is Who causes death and grants life, 44 and that He Himself created the two sexes: male and female, 45 From a drop of liquid, when it is added? 46 And that only upon Him is the next revival? 47 that He it is Who bestowed wealth and riches, 48 And that He only is the Lord of the star Sirius? 49 and that He destroyed Ad, the ancient, 50 and Thamood, and He did not spare them, 51 and before them the people of Noah who were even more unjust and insolent; 52 He plunged the villages 53 So there covered them that which did cover (i.e. torment with stones). 54 So O listener! Which favour of your Lord will you doubt? 55 This is a Warner, of the (series of) Warners of old! 56 The Hour that was to come draws ever nearer. 57 None but God can avert it. 58 Do you, perchance, find this tiding strange? 59 And will you laugh and not weep? 60 while you make merry? 61 Rather, prostrate to Allah and worship Him. ۩ 62
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
