The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the sky, (displaying) the Zodiacal Signs; 1 By the Promised Day! 2 And by the Day witnessing and the Day witnessed, 3 That accursed are the men of the trench 4 Of the fire (kept burning) with fuel, 5 When they sat by it (fire), 6 to watch what they were doing to the believers, 7 They had naught against them save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Owner of Praise, 8 To Him only belongs the kingship of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness over all things. 9 Those who persecute (or draw into temptation) the Believers, men and women, and do not turn in repentance, will have the Penalty of Hell: They will have the Penalty of the Burning Fire. 10 (But) for those who believe and do good works, for them there are Gardens underneath which rivers flow that is the Great Victory! 11 The grip of your Lord is severe indeed! 12 Behold, it is He who creates [man] in the first instance, and He [it is who] will bring him forth anew. 13 And He is the Oft-Forgiving, Full of Loving-Kindness, 14 Honorable Owner of the Throne, 15 the Executor of what He wills. 16 Has the story of the armies reached you, 17 of Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 But those who disbelieve are engaged in denial. 19 However, God encompassed their activities. 20 Indeed, this is a Glorious Koran, 21 upon an imperishable tablet [inscribed]. 22
True are the words of God the Almighty.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
