Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

YOU ARE OBSESSED by greed for more and more 1 till you reached the grave. 2 But no, indeed, you shall soon know. 3 Again lo! presently ye shall know. 4 Indeed, were you to know the truth with certainty, 5 You will surely end up seeing Hell; 6 again, you shall most certainly end up seeing it with absolute certainty. 7 Then, on that Day, ye shall surely be asked of the delights. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
