The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Seen-Meem. (Alphabets of the Arabic language – Allah, and to whomever he reveals, know their precise meanings.) 1 THESE ARE MESSAGES of the divine writ, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth! 2 Perhaps you will kill yourself with grief because they do not believe. 3 If We will, We can send down on them a sign from heaven before which their necks will remain humbled. 4 Never cometh there unto them a fresh reminder from the Beneficent One, but they turn away from it. 5 For they have already denied, but there will come to them the news of that which they used to ridicule. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how many We caused to grow in it every generous kind? 7 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 8 And verily, thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 9
