۞ “Gather all the unjust persons and their spouses, and all that they used to worship!” 22 apart from Allah, and direct them to the path of Hell, 23 And stop them, for they shall be questioned: 24 "'What is the matter with you that ye help not each other?'" 25 Nay, but that Day they shall surrender, 26 and advance one upon another, asking each other questions. 27 They say: Lo! ye used to come unto us, imposing, (swearing that ye spoke the truth). 28 They will say: “Nay, you yourselves were not the ones who would believe. 29 And we had no authority over you, but you were an inordinate people; 30 The statement of Our Lord is realized against us, and we are tasting it, 31 Thus we misled you. Lo! we were (ourselves) astray. 32 Then lo! this day they (both) are sharers in the doom. 33 Verily that is how We shall deal with Sinners. 34 Indeed they, when it was said to them, "There is no deity but Allah," were arrogant 35 and replied, "Shall we then give up our deities at the bidding of a mad poet?" 36 (They say so although) he brought the Truth and confirmed the veracity of the Messengers. 37 Verily ye are going to taste a torment afflictive. 38 And you will be requited nothing except for what you used to do (evil deeds, sins, and Allah's disobedience which you used to do in this world); 39 Not so, however, God's true servants: 40 For them there will be a known provision (in Paradise). 41 as the fruits [of their life on earth]; and honoured shall they be 42 In Gardens of peace. 43 sitting face to face upon couches, 44 They will be served with a cup full of crystal clear wine, 45 white and delicious to those who drink it, 46 No bad effect is there in it, nor from it will they be intoxicated. 47 Theirs shall be wide-eyed maidens with bashful, restrained glances, 48 as if they were hidden pearls. 49 They will go to one another asking each other questions. 50 A speaker from among them shall say: Surely I had a comrade of mine, 51 Who would say, 'Are you indeed of those who believe 52 ‘That when we are dead and have turned into dust and bones, that we will either be rewarded or punished?’ 53 Do you want to see him?' " 54 Then he looks, and sees him in the midst of Hell. 55 He will say, "By God! You almost brought me to ruin! 56 “And were it not for the munificence of my Lord, I too would have been seized and brought forth (captive)!” 57 “So are we never to die?” (The people of Paradise will ask the angels, with delight, after the announcement of everlasting life.) 58 Saving our former death, and are we not to be punished? 59 Most surely this is the mighty achievement. 60 It is for the like of this that all should strive. 61 Is this a better hospitality or the tree of AzZakkum! 62 which We have made as a test for the wrongdoers. 63 Verily, it is a tree that springs out of the bottom of Hell-fire, 64 The fruit thereof is as though the hoods of the serpents. 65 The dwellers of hell will eat that fruit and fill-up their bellies. 66 And behold, above all this they will be confounded with burning despair! 67 And once again: Verily, the blazing fire is their ultimate goal 68 These are the ones who found their fathers steeped in error, 69 So they (too) made haste to follow in their footsteps! 70 And verily most of the men of old went astray before them, 71 And verily We sent among them warners. 72 See then the end of those who were warned, 73 except for God's sincere servants. 74

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
