Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
