Warnings also came to the Pharaonites, 41 They, too, rejected all Our signs. So We seized them with the seizure of One Mighty, Omnipotent. 42 Are the unbelievers among you any better than they? Or is there immunity for you in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: “We are a strong legion, strong enough for victory?” 44 Soon shall the hosts be routed, and they shall turn (their) backs. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. 46 Surely the sinners are in error and insanity! 47 On the Day when they shall be dragged into the fire on their faces, [they will be told:] "Taste now the touch of hell-fire!" 48 BEHOLD, everything have We created in due measure and proportion; 49 And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you; is there any that will remember? 51 Every thing that they have done is in the Scrolls, 52 And everything, small and great, hath been written down. 53 Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and rivers, 54 In a good seat, near a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
