The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
