▼ 15 The Hijjr Valley
Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
AND, INDEED, We have set up in the heavens great constellations, and endowed them with beauty for all to behold; 16 And We have guarded it (near heaven) from every outcast Shaitan (devil). 17 Except him (devil) that gains hearing by stealing, he is pursued by a clear flaming fire. 18 And the earth have We spread out, and placed therein firm hills, and caused each seemly thing to grow therein. 19 We have provided therein a means of livelihood for you and for all those creatures for whom you do not provide. 20 And there is not a thing the treasure* of which is not with Us; and We do not send it down except by a known measure. (* The power to create it.) 21 And We send the winds fertilising, and cause water to descend from the sky, and give it you to drink. It is not ye who are the holders of the store thereof. 22 It is We who give life and We who give death, and We are the One who will abide. 23 Surely We know those of you who have passed before and those who will come later. 24 Your Lord will resurrect them all; He is All-wise and All-knowing. 25
