And recall what time Musa said unto his page: I shall not cease until I reach the confluence of the two seas, or I shall go on for ages. 60 But when they reached the junction between them, they forgot their fish, and it took its course into the sea, slipping away. 61 So when they had passed beyond it, [Moses] said to his boy, "Bring us our morning meal. We have certainly suffered in this, our journey, [much] fatigue." 62 His companion replied, "Do you remember the rock on which we took rest? Satan made me forget to mention to you the story of the fish and how it miraculously made its way into the sea. 63 Moses said: "That was what we were seeking after:" So they went back on their footsteps, following (the path they had come). 64 Then they found one of Our servants unto whom We had given mercy from Us, and We had taught him knowledge proceeding from Us. 65 Moses said to him: 'May I follow you so that you can teach me of that you have learned of righteousness' 66 He (Khidr) said: "Verily! You will not be able to have patience with me! 67 for how couldst thou be patient about something that thou canst not comprehend within the compass of [thy] experience?" 68 He said: If Allah pleases, you will find me patient and I shall not disobey you in any matter. 69 He said: Well, if thou go with me, ask me not concerning aught till I myself make mention of it unto thee. 70
