Did you not see those who dispute concerning the signs of Allah? Where are they being diverted? 69 Those who deny the Book and that with which We sent Our messengers - they are going to know, 70 When the fetters and chains are round their necks they shall be dragged 71 Into boiling water, then in the fire shall they be burned; 72 Then shall it be said to them: Where is that which you used to set up 73 They will say, "They have been lost to us; nay, we did not invoke anything before [that had real existence]." Thus God leaves the deniers of the truth to stray; 74 (And it is said unto them): This is because ye exulted in the earth without right, and because ye were petulant. 75 Enter the gates of Hell to stay therein forever. The abode of the arrogant is evil. 76 Then have patience (O Muhammad). Lo! the promise of Allah is true. And whether we let thee see a part of that which We promise them, or (whether) We cause thee to die, still unto Us they will be brought back. 77 And indeed, [O Muhammad,] We sent forth apostles before thy time; some of them We have mentioned to thee, and some of them We have not mentioned to thee. And it was not given to any apostle to bring forth a miracle other than by God's leave. Yet when God's will becomes manifest, judgment will [already] have been passed in all justice, and lost will be, then and there, all who tried to reduce to nothing [whatever they could not understand]. 78
