Al-Qamar 3 of 3
And warnings came in truth unto the house of Pharaoh 41 They cried lies to Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with the seizing of One mighty, omnipotent. 42 Are the unbelievers among you any better than they? Or is there immunity for you in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We are a great multitude, and we shall be victorious?" 44 Anon will their multitude be vanquished, and they will turn the back. 45 But nay - the Last Hour is the time when they shall truly meet their fate; and that Last Hour will be most calamitous, and most bitter: 46 Verily the culprits shall be in great error and madness. 47 The Day they will be dragged in the Fire on their faces (it will be said to them): "Taste you the touch of Hell!" 48 Verily everything! We have created it by a measure. 49 And Our commandment is but one (commandment), as the twinkling of an eye. 50 We did indeed destroy many like you. Is there, then, any who will heed? 51 All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds): 52 And everything small and great is written down. 53 Surely those who shun disobedience will dwell amidst Gardens and running streams 54 In a seat of honor near a Sovereign, Perfect in Ability. 55

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
