Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven is split asunder, 1 when the planets are scattered, 2 when the oceans are gushed forth, 3 And when the graves are turned upside down (and they bring out their contents) 4 (Then) a person will know what he has sent forward and (what he has) left behind (of good or bad deeds). 5 O human! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord 6 who created thee and shaped thee and wrought thee in symmetry 7 in whatever composition He wanted. 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds): 11 They know whatever you do. 12 Surely the virtuous shall be in Bliss, 13 And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire. 14 [a fire] which they shall enter on Judgment Day, 15 And will not be able to hide from it. 16 And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 17 Again, what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 The day on which no soul shall control anything for (another) soul; and the command on that day shall be entirely Allah's. 19
