The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 I am for you an honest Messenger, 107 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 So fear God and follow me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe in you when no one has followed you except the lowest ones". 111 He said: "And what knowledge have I of what they used to do? 112 Their account falls only upon My Lord, if you were but aware. 113 And I am not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a clear warner' 115 Said they: "Indeed, if thou desist not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be stoned to death!" 116 He said: My Lord! Surely my people give me the lie! 117 Therefor judge Thou between us, a (conclusive) judgment, and save me and those believers who are with me. 118 So We delivered him and those with him, in the Ark filled (with all creatures). 119 then afterwards We drowned the rest. 120 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And lo, thy Lord, He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
