We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
