S (Saad)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Saad* – By oath of the renowned Qur’an, (Alphabet of the Arabic language; Allah and to whomever He reveals, know their precise meanings.) 1 No, the unbelievers exalt in their division. 2 How many a generation We have destroyed before them, and they cried out when there was no longer time for escape! 3 So they wonder that a Warner has come to them from among themselves! and the Unbelievers say, "This is a sorcerer telling lies! 4 Has he turned so many gods into one deity? This is indeed a strange thing!" 5 And the leaders among them went about (saying): "Go on, and remain constant to your aliha (gods)! Verily, This is a thing designed (against you)! 6 We have not heard of this in later religion. This is naught but an invention. 7 Can it be that he alone has received the Quran?" In fact, they have doubts about My Quran and this is because they have not yet faced (My) torment. 8 Do they have the stores of the mercy of your Lord, the mighty and munificent? 9 Have they control over heavens and earth and whatever [lies] between them? Then let them climb up to heaven by ropes: 10 They are only a small band among the defeated confederate tribes. 11 The people of Nuh and Ad, and Firon, the lord of spikes, rejected (apostles) before them. 12 Thamood, the nation of Lot and the dwellers of the Thicket such were the confederates. 13 There was not one of them but treated their messengers as liars, so My punishment rightly overtook them: 14
