The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Occurrence occurs, 1 and there can be no denying its happening, 2 Degrading (some) and exalting (others); 3 When the earth is shaken 4 The mountains bruised and crushed, 5 So that they become dust seattered. 6 And you become [of] three kinds: 7 Companions of the Right, what are the Companions of the Right? 8 And (as to) the companions of the left hand; how wretched are the companions of the left hand! 9 As for the Foremost, they will be the foremost! 10 they who were [always] drawn close unto God! 11 In gardens of tranquility; 12 a large group of the early believers, 13 and only a few of them from the later generations. 14 On thrones decorated, 15 facing one another. 16 immortal youths shall go about them 17 With vessels, pitchers and a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring - 18 Wherefrom they get no aching of the head nor any madness, 19 And fruits that they may like. 20 and such flesh of fowl as they desire, 21 And (there are) fair ones with wide, lovely eyes, 22 Like unto hidden pearls, 23 a recompense for that they laboured. 24 They will not hear any useless speech in it, or any sin. 25 except each other's greetings of, "Peace be with you". 26 Those on the Right, how fortunate are those on the Right! 27 (They will be) among Lote-trees without thorns, 28 Among Talh (banana-trees) with fruits piled one above another, 29 And shade extended 30 And water everflowing. 31 And fruit in plenty 32 Neither intercepted nor forbidden, 33 And [upon] beds raised high. 34 Lo! We have created them a (new) creation 35 And made them virgin - pure (and undefiled), - 36 Loving, of equal age. 37 for the Companions of the Right 38

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
