Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 which then blow tempestuously 2 And scatter (things) far and wide; 3 and the severally severing 4 And those [angels] who deliver a message 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 Indeed what you are promised, will surely befall. 7 When the stars are extinguished, 8 And when the sky is riven asunder, 9 And when the mountains are carried away by wind. 10 And when the apostles are collected at the appointed time, 11 to what day shall they be deferred? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 15 Did We not destroy the ancients, 16 Then We will follow them with the later ones. 17 Thus do We deal with the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.)! 18 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 19 Did We not create you of a mean water, 20 and place it in a secure place 21 for an appointed term? 22 We determined; excellent determiners are We. 23 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a container 25 For the living and the dead, 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 28 (It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny; 29 Depart to a triple-massing shadow 30 "Neither shading, nor of any use against the fierce flame of the Fire." 31 it indeed throws up sparks like castles, 32 (Or) as it might be camels of bright yellow hue. 33 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 34 They will not be able to speak that day, 35 And they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse. 36 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 37 This is the day of decision: We have gathered you and those of yore. 38 If now ye have any craft, try that craft upon Me. 39 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 40
