The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ TRULY, to a happy state shall attain the believers: 1 Who are humble in their prayers, 2 And those who from everything vain turn away. 3 who give charity, 4 And those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts) 5 Except before their mates or those whom their right hands possess, for they surely are not blameable, 6 but those who seek to go beyond that are transgressors -- 7 and who are faithful to their trusts and to their pledges, 8 and those who observe their prayers. 9 These are the real gainers, 10 Who shall inherit Paradise; therein they shall be abiders. 11 We created man out of the extract of clay, 12 Thereafter We made him (the offspring of Adam) as a Nutfah (mixed drops of the male and female sexual discharge) (and lodged it) in a safe lodging (womb of the woman). 13 then We made this drop into a clot, then We made the clot into a lump, then We made the lump into bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, and then We caused it to grow into another creation. Thus Most Blessed is Allah, the Best of all those that create. 14 Thereafter you will certainly die 15 then on the Day of Resurrection you shall surely be raised up. 16 And certainly We made above you seven heavens; and never are We heedless of creation. 17 And We send down water from the sky according to (due) measure, and We cause it to soak in the soil; and We certainly are able to drain it off (with ease). 18 Then We cause to grow thereby gardens of palm trees and grapes for you; you have in them many fruits and from them do you eat; 19 And also a tree that springeth forth from mount Sinai, that groweth oil and is a sauce for the eaters. 20 There are lessons for you in the cattle from whose bellies We give you milk to drink, and there are other advantages that you derive from them, and some of them you eat; 21 And on them and on the ships you are borne. 22
