Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
CONSIDER the bright morning hours, 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 (O Prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan, and shelter thee? 6 And He found thee wandering, and He gave thee guidance. 7 Did He not find thee destitute and enrich (thee)? 8 So do not oppress the orphan, 9 and as for the beggar, scold him not; 10 And keep recounting the favours of your Lord. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
