Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
The deniers of truth from among the People of the Book and the polytheists would not desist from disbelief until they received clear evidence -- 1 a Messenger from Allah, reciting from Purified Scrolls; 2 In which are written proper affairs. 3 Nor did the People of the Book(s) get divided until after the clear proof came to them. 4 And they were commanded not but that they should worship Allah, keeping religion pure for him, as upright men, and that they should establish prayer and give the poor-rate, and that is the right religion. 5 Lo! those who disbelieve, among the People of the Scripture and the idolaters, will abide in fire of hell. They are the worst of created beings. 6 But those who believe and do good deeds are the best of all creatures. 7 Their recompense lies with their Lord: Gardens of eternity beneath which rivers flow; therein they shall dwell, forever and ever. Allah is well-pleased with them, and they are well-pleased with Him. All this is for him who fears his Lord. 8
