Al-Hijjr 6 of 6
Surely the people of al-Hijr also rejected the Messengers, calling them liars. 80 And We gave them Our signs, and they remained averse to them. 81 And they used to carve from the mountains, houses, feeling secure. 82 But they were seized by the mighty blast towards the morning; 83 So nothing availed them [from] what they used to earn. 84 We created not the heavens, the earth, and all between them, but for just ends. And the Hour is surely coming (when this will be manifest). So overlook (any human faults) with gracious forgiveness. 85 Verily, your Lord is the All-Knowing Creator. 86 We have given you the seven oft-recited verses and the great Quran. 87 Do not direct your eyes towards the things We have given to some of their couples to enjoy, and do not at all grieve because of them, and take the Muslims within the folds of your mercy. 88 Say, "Indeed, I am simply one who warns." 89 Such as We send down for those who make division, 90 [and] who [now] declare this Qur'an to be [a tissue of] falsehoods! 91 By your Lord, We will question them all 92 As to what they did. 93 Proclaim openly what you are commanded, and avoid the polytheists. 94 We suffice you against those who mock, 95 and those who set up other gods with Allah, indeed, they will soon know. 96 We do indeed know how thy heart is distressed at what they say. 97 But you should glorify your Lord with praises, and be among those who bow in submission; 98 And serve thy Lord till the Inevitable cometh unto thee. 99

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
